I put all three of the first link into my Sites:

This is mainly for those wishing to protect certain static site content, (although I use the telephone obfuscation methods within a CMS):

As this is a shared server it may well making sure that your database configuration files are set to 400 to prevent the Symlink Hack.
Also comment out the:
if in use in your .htaccess
Server Admins See:
