Well when you say customizations what do you mean by that?

Iv'e been working with IPB for about 2 years or so. 3.1.4, 3.2.2,3.2.3, and 3.3.X
I can do theme customizations, modification updates, mod creations, etc.
doesn't seem all that hard.

On the other hand one thing I hate about the later versions is the removal of Avatars.
So in conclusion IPB is still pretty unstable (3.3.X is still unstable).

You should wait for 4.0. Im pretty sure it would be stable enough by then.

Adverts,boxes etc,. all actions are taken by Sam actually, it takes time to do all these..
Even I've been with IPB for about 3 and 1/2 years .. and recently to VB and Xen. Agree, 3.3 is still unstable , even the 3.3.1 has a few bugs. I dont think IPB will jump into the 4.0 series within now no plans. Maybe a 3.4 would come..
