Hi all
I hope someone can help me, and sorry if my question is stupid, but I am new to this.

I have registered a free domain on the 10th of April.

I have registered the domain ffomanager.org

I am using Filezilla website copier to upload my sites files.

When I type in the host as ffomanager.org and try and connect, it says

Status: Resolving address of ffomanager.org
Status: Connection attempt failed with "EAI_NODATA - No address associated with nodename".
Error: Could not connect to server
Status: Waiting to retry...
Status: Resolving address of ffomanager.org
Status: Connection attempt failed with "EAI_NODATA - No address associated with nodename".
Error: Could not connect to server

I am sure that this address is wrong?
Please help.
Thank you in advance.
Regards Tim

Okay, now that you have purchased the domain, login to the account from where ever you have purchased the domain or the client/billing area and click manage domain or settings, accordingly you have to set the name-servers in order for the domain to point it to us. set them to ns7.sixserve.com and ns8.sixserve.com

How to ?

To Set Nameservers for a Domain Name Registered Elsewhere and Hosted with Us

  • Log in to your Account Manager.
  • Click Web Hosting.
  • Next to the hosting account you want to use, click Launch.
  • From the Settings menu, select DNS Manager.
  • Click change zone.
  • Select the domain name you want to use, and then click OK.

Your domain's nameservers display in the NS (Nameserver) section. You must provide these nameservers to your domain name's current registrar.

Standard DNS nameservers sixserve:
ns7.sixserve.com
ns8.sixserve.com

Once you have set the nameservers, you can establish the connection with your FTP client.

Hi
Thanks for your help.
Something seems to be working.
By the way, I got an email saying that I should use

ns9.sixserve.com
ns10.sixserve.com

so have used these.

I have made a connection to the server user Filezilla.
I have tried to upload the index page, and it says that it has succeeded.
When I goto www.ffomanager.org, my homepage is not there?
Help?
Please?
Tim
