Introduction
All account holders are required by SixServe to follow the terms enclosed in this document. Any member of our community that decides otherwise will immediately face the consequences. Consequences will depend purely on the intensity of the term that is breached. If any individual does not agree with this contract that user is not entitled to Free Hosting provided by SixServe. SixServe, for many reasons, wishes to keep its services available for a long time, we can only do this with the user's support. Please follow this contract.
Forum Terms
By disobeying this part of the contract, which is purely for the forum (community) section of our services, users may be banned indefinitely or definitely, depending on the infraction. Users may also receive a temporary privilege of posting removal. Our services are a privilege, not a right.
SixServe will not condone with any user who reports a fellow user without having a valid reason and evidence of the charge. Any user who is found slandering another user will receive two infractions against their account and all staff members will be aware of the slander incident so they can take careful measures if another report is received by the user.
SixServe prohibits the hijacking of an user's thread. Hijacking is considered taking a thread, asking your own question, and expecting a reply directly to you. The support threads are to made by the user who needs support and the staff will only reply to that user. In some cases, staff may merge posts. If this happens, the thread will then be marked [OPEN] and you can post your question as long as it is relative to the thread.
SixServe prohibits the use of inappropriate language. Inappropriate language is considered to be anything sexual and is judged at the discretion of the staff member on duty. An infraction will be placed on the account that posts inappropriate language. The post will also be removed or censored (depending on the severity of the post).
SixServe prohibits arguing or flaming in the forums. The forums are made for support and general/civilized socialization. Any user found flaming at another user will be punished and the post(s) will be removed per the discretion of the staff member on duty.
SixServe prohibits bumping posts. Posts that have been inactive for more than one month are considered inactive. Anyone activating these posts (unless for a reasonable reason) will be given an infraction. Anyone bumping their posts will also receive an infraction. Bumping a post is the act of posting for no reason to make your post at the top of the list. The staff generally start with posts at the bottom of the pile anyways.
SixServe will not condone with people who are impersonating official staff members of SixServe. If you are found impersonating a staff member, you will be notified of your action and receive an infraction. If it is severe, you may be suspended or banned from the forums.
SixServe will never condone with posts that harass other users. SixServe believes that all people should be treated equally and the way everyone wants to be treated. The SixServe staff team will immediately suspend any user who is harassing another user. Harassment is by discretion of the staff member on duty and/or whoever reports the post. The post will be reviewed if reported.
SixServe staff will remove posting privileges from any user who is misleading in any post they post.
Staff will also remove posting privileges from users who are continuously posting videos that do not relate to the community, pictures or other content that may be malicious.
Staff are entitled to remove posting privileges per their discretion.
SixServe prohibits the posting of explicit pictures, websites, or movies. Any post containing explicit content will be removed from the website permanently and the user who posted the content will be permanently banned.
Any user who creates another forum account after being banned from the forums will be banned (by IP, e-mail, and account) permanently.
Any user who posts a virus or another content that may harm anyone on the forum or SixServe will be banned immediately. The post will be removed and all users will be notified of the virus for their safety.
Any user posting links to their website or another website in an inappropriate manner (flooding, advertising, spamming, etc) will be removed from the forums permanently. The post(s) will also be removed.
SixServe will not condone with discrimination of others. Any user found discriminating another user, whether it be by sex, age, mental disabilities, race, or any other factor, will be immediately banned permanently. The post(s) will also be removed.
SixServe will not allow, for storage and other reasons, multiple accounts on the forum. Each user is entitled to ONE account and only one account. Any other accounts will be removed and the user's primary account will be banned.
Please do not tell moderators to close a thread or to delete a thread. If you feel the thread should be reviewed, please use the report system.
SixServe will close any topics or delete any posts that contain any other language than English. SixServe is unable to support other languages aside from English in support.
Hosting Terms
Users cannot host crawlers or other bots on their website hosted by SixServe. Account holder will be notified immediately at discovery and a re-evaluation will occur in 48 hours before suspension.
Proxies are forbidden on our services. Account holder will be notified immediately at discovery and a re-evaluation will occur in 48 hours before suspension.
Users cannot go over the allotted amount of resource usage and if they do, their account may be temporarily unavailable.
Users must have their domain pointed to our nameservers at all times. Accounts that are not pointed to our nameservers (ns7.sixserve.com and ns8.sixserve.com) will automatically be suspended after 7 days (notifications will be sent).
SixServe prohibits the distribution of underage pornographic images. The user that hosts child pornography will be reported to the appropriate authorities and will have their account held for further investigation if needed.
SixServe also prohibits the storing of sexually graphic or pornographic images on its servers. Accounts with said images, videos, etc will be removed from the server immediately.
Account holders may not use their account primarily for hosting files (movies, mp3s, iso files, etc) on their websites. Leeching or file hosting will result in immediate termination of services.
Users may only have one account. Users with more than one free account will have both accounts terminated.
Users are not allowed to have unlicensed or illegal software on their website. Accounts with unlicensed/illegal software (Warez, WHMCS (unlicensed), vBulletin (unlicensed), etc) will be terminated immediately.
Websites that discriminate against any type of person will be terminated immediately.
Massive uploading to your site or downloading from your site may result in termination.
Spamming is prohibited on websites provided for free by SixServe. All accounts that are caught spamming will be terminated.
Websites that contain malicious content, such as viruses or other content, will be terminated immediately.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any accounts participating in activity deemed harmful to the other users on the server, such as excessive resource usage.
The hosting of any website that provides hosting services to the general public is prohibited on SixServe's free servers. Users that are hosting any of the following sites are subject to permanent termination:
- File Hosting
- Electronic Mail Hosting
- WordPress/CMS/Blog hosting
- Sub domain/FTP hosting
- Image Hosting
- Any other kind of hosting service
All terminated accounts cannot be restored and are permanent.
All suspended accounts can be unsuspended and restored by sending a notification via support ticket to our staff members before termination.
All decisions are final by discretion of the staff member on duty.
Domains cannot be changed multiple times in one month.
Conclusion
All users that partake in any services provided by SixServe are subject to these terms. If you have any questions or comments please feel free to post them below. Your inquiries are very important to SixServe and will be reviewed. We may not be able to reply directly to them, but we will try our best to take them into consideration. SixServe retains the right to change this document at any time. SixServe users are to follow this and keep updated on the ToS every time it changes. Anyone not following this ToS will suffer consequences.
SixServe will allow official authorities of the United States and other international authorities access to any user's information held on the server including, but not limited to, personal information, website content, and any other things they request.
