Messaging Users...

Hello!

Use of the messaging system can be convenient when trying to contact a friend from SixServe. However, when using the messaging system you need to be careful. Sometimes members would rather that you did not message them, or in the staff's case, it is better not to message us because we are overwhelmed with other matters at hand. We do not mind a message every now and then, it keeps us feeling special, but please make sure that you are not repeatedly messaging anyone from SixServe unless they reply back. It gets annoying and may be considered harassment. If you post on someone's profile and they do not reply (when it is obvious that they should reply), they are either busy or prefer not to receive messages. Unless they tell you otherwise, please do not continue to message them. This has happened in the past and we just want to cut down on the spam and harassment on the forum. It's limited, yes, but if they ask you not to message them or do not reply, please do not message them. This goes for everyone, staff, users, etc.

It's not only annoying, but it's inconsiderate and we have to deal with people complaining about the spam. We have enough to deal with let alone spam that can be prevented.
