hello everyone,
i am new in sixserve and i got a few questions...

1st:
I received the confirmation e-mail and below the Upload your website there were Temporary FTP Hostname: pixie.sixserve.com ------Temporary Webpage URL: http://pixie.sixserve.com/~softwar2/
i found the webpage but how i can setup the ftp in filezilla...there is no password or something ? when i tried to connect to pixie.sixserve.com as anonymous i took the following error: 421 Can't change directory to /var/ftp/ [/]....

2nd:
When i would be able to connect to the domain name which i registered and when i would be able use the ftp account which i created via the cpanel?

Thanks in advance,
Paul

what was the domain you registered?

For the FTP , the cPanel info such as your username and password are the same as you supplied. Leave the port empty , it will auto connect. Seems here its showing me that your domain has not been parked yet .. Just wait a while.

what are the name servers you set ?

NS7.SIXSERVE.COM
NS8.SIXSERVE.COM

go to the client area and login if you haven't already http://sixserve.com/.../clientarea.php at the top you should see Domains > My domains

after you get to that page you will see "Bulk Management Actions" close to the bottom of the page, click the button that says manage Nameservers

Did you actually buy the domain or did you just use it for registration? TLD Domains aren't free.. so if you want, you can register one through us or you can get a free domain at dot.tk
