Hi all.
I was just wondering if i can have domainname1.com and domainname2.co.uk both pointing at domainname1.com
i would usually do this with a parked domain for domainname2.co.uk with a redirect to domainname1.com, but it looks like having parked domains on free hosting is disabled. is there another way to do this that anyone knows of without having a parked domain?
Also, are addon domains allowed with free hosting, or would i need to upgrade to paid hosting?
Many thanks for your help.

Or you can setup 'A' or 'AA' records in cPanel to have your another domain point to the nameservers of your your previous domain. that will work as long as you create correct records.

I believe he would still need to have the addon domain, however.

thanks dave. thats what i thought. and i think you are correct about having the addon domain capability activated to use A & AA records.
So, after looking at the paid hosting, with the 9.99 package i can have as many domains as i want (each with its own public_html), and within each of those i can have addon and sub domains. i couldnt see what methods of payment you accept, and would be grateful if you could enlighten me.
many thanks for the help & its a fantastic service you provide.

You can use Paypal, Google Checkout, or any other digital money transaction. You could also use a VISA or DEBIT card via PayPal or Google Checkout. Bank accounts are valid through PayPal as well. We cannot do money orders or checks at this time.

It is $9.99 USD Annually (per year). You can do which ever you like. And when you're ready to upgrade, just go to your Client Area, select "My Products and Services" and then select "Upgrade Product." Finally, you can select to upgrade to our unlimited domains package. The upgrade will happen automatically.

hi dave.
so i have got the 9.99 package for unlimited domains (and have kept the free server as well, i hope thats ok, but if not then it can be moved to the unlimited one), and have now uploaded a full cpanelx backup to the root.
i would appreciate it if you could do a restore from this backup, as it cant be done from cpanelx.
the only thing that i have done on the server so far is set up a domain (other than the root domain) with a redirect.
i should be able to alter the nameservers soon (for the root domain and 2 others) and am just waiting for the domains to be transferred to my domain registration account from my buddy that used to have the servers and was looking after them. All other domains will be updated once the backup has been restored.
there are several files and directories contained within the backup that i will be deleting once it has been restored and i have taken a copy of them, that will reduce the disk space used somewhat. this will be done asap.
the root domain where the backup resides is pamelasplayroom.co.uk, and the order number for the package is 3108114791
Once again, many thanks for your help with this.
