As long as it's not hosted here you can but to be on the safer side and not a risk to you i'd suggest not. You can link to link to 'inapprobiate for children' .

In the rules that stated if you don't have "materials" on home page it will pass, but I don't feel to risk.

I have on main page "THIS WEBSITE MAY CONTAIN CONTENT.. blah blah".

Whats that you want to link ? , you can link any images as long as you achieve the copyright's etc,. However Child Pornography / Animal abuse isn't allowed.
